Ya can find out all 'bout it at http://www.skypilotclub.com

Hagen, a member of the T.O.P. (The Original Pranksters) lost his brother this week. You can read about Hagen in Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.

Anyone wishing to send their condolences may reach Hagen at skyp@skypilotclub.comskyp@skypilotclub.com

Johnny Hagen, Mike's brother, was killed in a car wreck on Sunday in Coos Bay, Oregon. Johnny is another great Pendleton guy who left the wheat ranch to be a lugger for the Dead. He will be missed and our great love and big hugs go to Mike.

On November 30, 1803, Spain's representatives, Governor Manuel de Salcedo and the Marqués de Casa Calvo, officially transferred Louisiana to France's representative, Prefect Pierre Clément de Laussat, in the Sala Capitular in the Cabildo. Although Laussat had been instructed to transfer Louisiana to the United States the next day, twenty days actually separated the transfers, during which time Laussat became governor of Louisiana and created a new town council.

HERE'S A DESCRIPTION OF SOME OF THE WORK PRODUCED BY ONE OF OUR FIDELISTA VISITORS TO ALABAMA

56:20018 Hernandez Castellon, Raul. The demographic revolution in Cuba. [La revolucion demografica en Cuba.] Demografia, 1988. 219 pp. Editorial de Ciencias Sociales: Havana, Cuba. In Spa. with sum. in Eng.
This is an analysis of the demographic changes that have occurred in Cuba since the Revolution of 1959. The theoretical aspects of demographic change associated with revolutionary social and economic change in a developing country are first examined from both Marxist and non-Marxist viewpoints. The social situation in Cuba before the Revolution is described, and the demographic changes subsequent to the Revolution are analyzed, with consideration given to the impact of economic changes, education, and urbanization on mortality, migration, population growth, demographic aging, and fertility. A final chapter is concerned with the demographic future after the postrevolutionary changes have been completed.
Correspondence: Editorial de Ciencias Sociales, calle 14 no. 4104, Playa, Havana, Cuba. Location: Princeton University Library (SPR).
