Somehow you put the link to the stickers on there --- not the BBQ Bash. This should be the correct link--- http://www.tristatebbq.com/blog/?p=295 or even http://www.tristatebbq.com/blog/2010/12/bbq-bash-a-rockin-yard-party/

Thanks!

Hey y'all~
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It been a while but everything's gonna be all right.
I'll try to do my best to cover the past three weeks.

The snow arrived in Tuscaloosa a little after 2. Here's the view off of my front porch @ 2:10

Robert Register & Jimmy Dean after THE STRANGERS' NEW YEAR'S EVE DINNER DANCE

Got to go see the Christmas lights @ Bellingrath while I was in Dauphin Island for Christmas.

Millions & millions of Christmas lights in exquisite gardens make quite an impression.

Photographs cannot capture the majesty of Bellingrath & it's greenhouses.

This is a huge navigational buoy that broke off and floated onto the island. You can see from my shadow that it's way larger than I am. Dauphin Island is in the background with Ft. Gaines on the right. Pelican Bay was about dry Sunday after that north wind pushed all the water south.

YOU CAN SEE THE DRY SAND BLOWING OVER THE WET SAND ON CHRISTMAS DAY 2010

You cannot believe how good that rag felt pressed upon my face by that cold north wind Saturday and Sunday on Pelican Island. Even though I was wearing a toboggan & a ski mask, I still needed more protection on my nose and lips.

Sally Bedsole Zeigler A beautiful photo but it reminds me more of a New England coastline scene than an Alabama one. Weird weather!

As you can see, Saturday's north wind pushed a lot of water out of Pelican Bay on the east end of Dauphin Island and underneath what had been water, all you could find was sand. You can see Ft. Morgan on the horizon to your left.

I was the ONLY person on Pelican Island on Saturday & Sunday. I walked all the way to land's end & it was dangerous out there because you could have died from exposure. I bundled up, wore a ski mask & covered my face with a heavy rag. I didn't have to tie the rag around my neck. The wind stuck it right where it was needed on my face. Here I am on Sunday after returning to Dauphin Island. Joe Thames, a Mobile native, said Sunday's tides on the bay were as low as any he had ever seen.

This is one of the disturbing images Jared Loughner, the Tuscon shooter, had on his myspace account. I found it on one of Loren Coleman's blogs.

Well one of the good things that's happening in Arizona is the BCS College Football Championship Game tomorrow night. I have been accused of being a closet Auburn fan in the past but I've decided to PULL FOR THE DUCKS like most of the rest of THE BAMA NATION!

Ken Babbs, famously a Merry Prankster and the best friend and working partner of Ken Kesey has at last finished his first novel and the wait was worth it.

Lieutenant Tom Huckelbee, leathery as any Texican come crawling out of the sage, and Lieutenant Mike Cochran, loquacious son of an Ohio gangster, make an unlikely pair training to be chopper pilots on their way to Vietnam. The dynamic takes the reader from a couple of know-nothing young men straight out of flight school, to Marine aviators caught in the middle of a disorienting war.

Tough and comical, quiet and boisterous, and always vivid and poetic, Babbs is a writer at the top of his craft. Who Shot The Water Buffalo? manages to capture an early year of the war through the eyes of a young man discovering what it means to be beholden to another. A book not to be missed.
