And the picture of Stevie Nicks — photo credited to Jack Williams of the UPC.
Haven’t seen him in years, but knew him well.
I worked doing layout on the CW for a while, and wonder if I laid out some of those ads?
I still have the scars from my trusty Exacto knife to prove it.

Hello Sir.
I am curious about the Stevie Nicks picture you have within your blog. You noted that this is from "The CW"; can you tell me about The CW? I am most curious if there was an article accompanying the photograph and where I might be able to find...if it is still in existence.
Thank you for your time.
Nicole
Mr. Register-I have forwarded all of this wonderful information to Carolie Kay, Morgan's widow. I know she will be glad to get it. She wrote yesterday from Boone, NC where her husband, bob and she live in the summer time to get away from our stifling central Virginia humidity and heat to say that they would be dedicating the Boy Scout Facility in Florence, Alabama named in Morgan Weed's honor on November 1 and that she hopes to attend the dedication ceremony. Thanks to your note, I have new website to check out regarding this American hero and have dedicated my own celebration of Memorial Day this year to him and to his family he left behind.
Thank you so much,
Pat SummersRobert,
That's wonderful news. When I get your blogs, lots of times I go down "memory lane" in Dothan.
I know you have heard about mother and her fall. She is in Extendacare right now but in good spirits. Larry and I are going to Dothan after we take our daughter and her family to Carillon Beach for vacation. I had originally planned to have a Coke and brownies party in Dothan to gather memories for my book about the "original" Nip & Ernie's, but now I have decided to cancel my plans so we can spend our time with mother and Larry's mother, who isn't doing very well either with Parkinson's. I wanted mother and Pauline to be at the party so they could see former patrons but mother won't feel like it.
Just wanted to thank you for sending me that link on YouTube to a recent Barbara Lewis "Baby, I'm Yours". I emailed her and got an email back from her last week. She and I exchange emails occasionally. Some times when I think of her, like when I have just played her music while going on my beach jog, I email her. I tell her things I've been doing and sometimes she emails me back. This time I told her about the new YouTube song and my hula lessons. She got a kick out of my hula lessons info and told me not to shake it so hard so I wouldn't break anything. She was leaving for a performance in CT. I still cannot believe I am communicating with "the" Barbara Lewis. She will always be my favorite.
Keep those wonderful blogs coming. I really enjoy them.
Aloha,
Ann
