97 lb rattlesnake found in just north of Enterprise 9 feet, 1 inch - 97 lbs. - Biggest rattler found since Ross Allen captured one in 1969 that measured 9 feet, 1 inch but only weighed 78 lbs. This old guy was found inside a open water tank near an abandoned chicken house.

Mr Jamerson I own the land between the Chattahoochee State Park and the River.
In 1999 Mr Robert Register contacted me about the 1799 survey of the border between the U.S. and Spain which is located on my place and the park,
It is now the Florida line.
Your talk might include some info on the line on April 6 if you so wish.
We are looking forward to it.

f http://www.myspace.com/thebopcats http://www.myspace.com/thebeaugators http://www.myspace.com/projectxstudio I've done 3 reunions of the "OMH". The bass player is out of pocket up in Arkansas I believe, so they ask me to come play. I'll send Devon, the keyboardist your site. He's in Atlanta. I might be able to hook up Terry Nemish, the drummer, he's down in Dothan.
(Robert said) "I parked in front of the Piggly Wiggley and went in and bought us two cartons of chocolate milk.
I go back outside, jump into my tourquoise '58 Chevy and before we finished our cartons of milk, the car was surrounded by gorgeous Brockton honeys. "

Looks like my life's getting cheaper by the day.
Yesterday I had at least 5 different people lie to me, betray me or shoot me obfuscations so thick it looked like a smoke machine at a KISS concert.
The result of which was that I ended up being confronted by SHAKA KONG (lovely daughter of Mama Kong & her life companion Big Whiskey Chief Boneinthenose) in the front yard of a crib in Kaulton.
The result of this little fracas was that I was about two shakes away from getting my light skinned ass blowed away if I hadn't whipped out my trusty cell phone & called 349-2121(the TPD weekday number).
[So dat'z how you gone play, HUH!!!!]
That gal was ready to have her boyfriend come kilt me up quicker than you can say Jack Robinson.
It pissed me off real bad,TOO
seeing as how this little scene was completely unnecessary &
was caused by at least 5 "professional" knuckleheads who STABBED ME IN THE BACK,
so in order to avoid WREAKING HAVOC,
I have decided to take a sabbatical &
head down to Houston County SOMETIME
between now & Sattiddee
so all my buds DOWN HOME get ready to ring me up
ON FRIDAY
at 205-657-7724 because I'm heading south to lay low FOR AT LEAST A WEEK!
All these tenants suffering from OBAMA FEVER remind me of
THE FIRST THING CHURCHILL SAID AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WAR:
from William Manchester's THE LAST LION:
Churchill noted that the prime minister had said it was a "sad day", and so it was, but "there is another note which may be present," a sense of gratitude that a new generation of Britons was " ready to prove itself not unworthy of the days of yore and not unworthy of those great men, the fathers of our land, who laid the foundation of our laws and shaped the greatness of our country."
Everybody I know wants to hit up Joe South http://www.myspace.com/joesouthmusichttp://www.myspace.com/joesouthofficialpage for a loan now that he sold his song HUSH to Jaguar!

Date: Mar 25, 2008 1:53 AMI was in Troop 130 from Dothan. Thomas Wheatley & Don Culberson were also in my troop. I worked at the Boy Scout Reservation some during the summer of '65 but I was on staff in '66 and in '67. In '67, I was Assistant Activities Director. I spent a little time there in the Summer of '68 because I was Vigil Honor in Cowikee Lodge.
I went out with Manera Saloom & Jacquetta Taylor in Enterprise & with Suzanne Wilkes in New Brockton. Mr. & Mrs. Broxton were like my surrogate parents so I had full access to the camp year round all through high school. I even hung out there during the Summer of '69 when I was going out with Margaret Sykes in Andalusia.
Wasn't Troop 99 that para-military bunch from Tick-Town (we always called the Boll Weevil
"THE TICK") that was so gung-ho &
had the adults who wore Christmas tree uniforms?

From: KennyDate: 25/03/2008I thought so. I was in 99/Rattler patrol with Devon Patrick, the keyboard player for
The Outer Mongolian Herd. Our scout leaders were mostly ex-military types that were Korea vets or just got out during the beginnings of 'Nam, which made them gung ho about preparing us. My favorite pastime was sleeping in the old boat out on the lake during the middle of the day, after drinking part a canteen of vodka and cherry kool-aid a couple of us would sneak into camp. Ocassionaly we would visit other troops over at Ed's Point at night and leave a can of beenie weenies in the fire before we left.....

KENNY~
Man, I have been soliciting for information on
THE OUTER MONGOLIAN HERD for ever. Please turn any of those cats on to ZERO, NORTHWEST FLORIDA
http://robertoreg.blogspot.comDuring my Senior year at DHS, a buddy of mine from Dothan got a date with a girl from Enterprise for Saturday night so he wanted to stay with me at camp for the weekend. We go to camp on Friday and Cecil let us have a staff cabin. We went to get a shower and my buddy was curious about my plans for hooking up with the girls in New Brockton that night so I told him,"Don't worry man, once we get to town, you'll have a date before you have time to drink a carton of chocolate milk."
We got cleaned up & drove over to Brockton.
I parked in front of the Piggly Wiggly and went in and bought us two cartons of chocolate milk.
I go back outside, jump into my tourquoise '58 Chevy and before we finished our cartons of milk, the car was surrounded by gorgeous Brockton honeys.
Only problem with some of those Brockton girls was that a couple of the best looking ones were from the wrong side of 84 & they were desperately poor. You'd go over to their houses in the evening to sit on the front porch with them & as the sun went down it started smelling like St. Andrews Bay as the neighborhood outhouses started working their magic gas through the evening air.
best,
rr
ROBERTO,
WE WERE PLAYING IN NEW YORK @ STEVE PAUL'S SCENE.
LINDA McCARTNEY (obviously before she married Paul) WAS INTRODUCING JOHN RAINEY TO LOTS OF N.Y. FOLKS. I BELIEVE THE CORAL ELECTRIC SITAR PEOPLE WERE IN FACT SOME OF THEM. ( ask Rodney to make sure of this, I'm sure he'll remember)
WE WERE BACK IN ATLANTA LATER ON MAKING A RECORD @ MASTER SOUND WHEN JOE SOUTH SAW THE SITAR AND ASKED JOHN RAINEY IF HE COULD BORROW IT.
HE KEPT IT A WHILE.
THEN LO AND BEHOLD THE WORLD GOT JOE SOUTH'S SIGNATURE SITAR SOUND ON 'THE GAMES PEOPLE PLAY' WHICH WON THE GRAMMY.
KEEP THE BABY FAITH,

http://www.myspace.com/friendlylightFrom Tom Wolfe's THE ELECTRIC KOOL-AID ACID TEST:
"We're in a period now like St. Paul and the early Christians," Kesey says. "St. Paul said, if they shit on you in one city, move on to another city, and if they shit on you in that city, move on to another city-"
"I know, Ken, but you're telling people to stop taking acid, and they're not going to stop. They've opened up doors
in their minds they never knew existed, and a very beautiful thing, and then they read in the papers that somebody they've looked up to is suddenly telling them to stop."
"There's a lot of things I can't tell the newspapers," says Kesey. His eyes are still focused long-range, away from Goldhill. "One night in Mexico, in Manzanillo, I took some acid and I threw the I Ching. And the I Ching- the great thing about the I Ching is, it never sends you Valentines, it slaps you in the face when you need it- and it said we had reached the end of something, we weren't going anywhere any longer, it was time for a new direction-and I went outside and there was an electrical storm, and there was lightening everywhere and I pointed to the sky and lightening flashed and all of a sudden I had a second skin, of lightening, electricity, like a suit of electricity, and I knew it was in us to be superheroes and that we could become superheroes or nothing." He lowers his eyes. " I wouldn't tell this to the newspapers. How could I? I wouldn't be put back in jail, I'd be put in Pescadero."
Give them what they want. Give them their money's worth.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2007 ON THIS DAY KESEY DIED IN 2001 Of all places, least of those you'd expect, he went to Russia when he left here, or so they would have us believe, having sent this picture as proof.
When a great person-- someone who does great deeds, has great convictions, is a great influence on others-- dies, it's like all that greatness is gone, no one can take its place. Not true. What happens is the greatness is spread out, passed into all those who were influenced, and it becomes a stronger force than ever before. Instead of being concentrated in one person, whatever goodness was being realized, is now being realized in a expanded, more powerful way, spread out over the world. But subtle, not blared on TV or proclaimed in headlines.
Like what happened with Cassady. He died in Mexico but his spirit was carried back across the border on the soles of a migrant farm worker's shoes. Spread all over the country. And have you noticed the way men now wear their baldness with pride? Shades of Kesey who often covered his bare pate with a bandanna, to repell the ravages of the sun.
